Job summary

Google Inc. in Goleta, CA seeks a Quantum Hardware Engineer to lead the Advanced Interconnect team, directing R&D on cryogenic microwave devices and superconducting quantum components.

You will own multiple projects, shape integration tech, and drive roadmap milestones with curiosity and engineering rigor. You will partner with researchers, industry and academia to transfer processes to production, and ensure documentation, procurement, and external collaboration align with our quantum roadmap

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in EE/CE/CS/Physics or equivalent
• 6 years of tech R&D in MEMS, PCB, or silicon technologies
• 3 years of technical leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the advanced interconnect technology team
• Develop integration and interconnect technologies for cryogenic microwave devices and superconducting quantum components
• Scope and purchase tools needed for development of integration technologies
• Collaborate with industrial and academic partners as project technical lead
• Write documentation and transfer developed processes to production
