Atom Computing seeks researchers to advance error correction on neutral-atom quantum computers. You will design fault-tolerant schemes, optimize atom movement, and collaborate with software teams to enable classical compute layers for fault-tolerant operation.

Qualifications

PhD required in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with quantum error correction theory or experiment.
Willingness to translate abstract ideas into demonstrations on quantum hardware.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize fault-tolerance schemes for gate-based atomic array quantum computers.
Develop and evaluate optimization strategies for atom movement during fault-tolerant computation.
Collaborate with software and control systems teams to implement classical compute layers for fault-tolerant computation.
Develop and implement decoders.
Develop and maintain tools for quantum simulation.
Implement error correction on quantum hardware.
