Atom Computing, Inc. is seeking a research intern to help shape the architecture and strategy of error correction for neutral-atom quantum computers.

You will join the Quantum Error Correction team to tackle questions at the intersection of theory and experiment. The role targets PhD candidates with experience in quantum error correction and familiarity with Python and Git, and offers a fast-paced startup environment with access to state-of-the-art hardware and collaborative peers in physics,

Qualifications

• PhD candidate in a relevant field pursuing research in quantum computing.
• Experience with quantum error correction theory or experiment is required.
• Willingness to translate concepts into demonstrations on actual hardware.
• Strong collaboration and communication across a diverse team.
