Job summary

QuEra Computing is seeking a Quantum Scientist to develop decoder algorithms for neutral atom quantum computers in the QEC and Architecture team in Boston, MA. You will design and analyze decoding methods for quantum memories and fault-tolerant logical circuits, studying how code structure and realistic noise affect logical performance, computational complexity, and scalability.

The approximate base salary range for this position is $130,400 - $211,900.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance.
• Experience designing and analyzing decoders for quantum codes.
• Experience evaluating decoders via analytical methods or numerical simulation.
• Strong scientific programming skills and clear communication.
