Job summary

QuEra Computing, Inc. is seeking a mission-driven Quantum Scientist to design and deliver specialized educational engagement and training around quantum error correction and fault tolerance for users of neutral-atom systems.

The role blends research with pedagogy, creating lessons, tutorials, quizzes, and hackathon challenges for industry, academia, and national labs. Travel may be required for workshops, conferences, and events.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc/BSc with relevant experience in quantum information.
• Strong background in quantum information science and hardware limitations.
• Experience executing quantum algorithms on real quantum systems.
• Familiarity with quantum error correction and fault-tolerance.
• Experience creating educational materials and teaching complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education of novel QEC and fault-tolerance research internally and externally.
• Design and maintain structured learning materials (courses, tutorials, problem sets, quizzes).
• Produce clear technical presentations and demos for customers, partners, conferences, and hackathons.
• Collaborate with product, research, and solutions teams to reflect latest features and hardware constraints.
• Translate R&D into learner pathways and assess learning outcomes.
• Drive enablement programs and expand documentation to lower adoption barriers.
