Job summary

Google Quantum AI in Goleta, CA is seeking a Quantum Device Layout and Simulation Engineer to support the layout and simulation backend and frontend infrastructures for quantum processors and related analog, DC, and RF devices. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in EE/CE/CS/Physics (or related field).
• 3 years of experience with Python or other languages and git version control.
• 3 years of experience with electromagnetic simulations and FEM tools such as Ansys HFSS or COMSOL.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance layout and simulation infrastructure for quantum processors and related devices.
• Maintain design documentation for layout, simulation and integrations with other teams.
• Collaborate with designers across teams to release and upgrade layout and simulation software.
