Job summary

DeepRec.ai is seeking a Quantum Algorithm Engineer to translate quantum algorithms into hardware-ready implementations in a software-centric role. You will design and optimise circuits, build workflows, and collaborate with research and hardware teams to push performance and scalability of quantum systems.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD in a technical field and strong software engineering skills in Python and C++, with hands-on experience in quantum software frameworks and circuit design.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related technical discipline.
• Strong software engineering skills in scientific computing environments (Python, C++).
• Hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and quantum software frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq).
• Understanding of quantum gates, circuit architectures, and hardware constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise quantum circuits for target hardware architectures.
• Develop software tools for quantum circuit compilation, transpilation, optimisation, and deployment.
• Profile and benchmark quantum circuit performance to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Collaborate with research and hardware teams to translate concepts into practical implementations.
• Maintain internal quantum software infrastructure and tooling.
• Advance quantum software capabilities with robust, maintainable code.
