Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an aspiring Quantity Surveyor for a busy fit-out sub-contractor in Essex. The role targets candidates with 2-3 years of experience at assistant level, offering progression into a commercial team handling CAT A/B fit-out projects in London.

You will blend office and site work, supporting from procurement through final account, while developing client-facing skills and taking on real responsibilities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically with ceilings & partitions.
• Confidence in working with clients and project teams.
• Desire to take on responsibility and contribute to project outcomes.
• Able to work effectively in both office and site environments.
• Resides within commuting distance to the Essex office.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Managing Surveyor, Contracts Managers, and Project Managers to commercially deliver a varied portfolio of fit-out projects.
• Handle all aspects from procurement through to final account, becoming an integral part of a collaborative commercial team.
• Engage confidently with clients and project teams, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Enjoy a hands-on role that takes you from the office to the project site, actively participating in all phases of the project lifecycle.
