Quantity Takeoff is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor for the Northern Region to ensure comprehensive commercial control of projects. The ideal candidate will manage contracts, analyze site costs, and foster client relationships.
The role requires a degree in relevant fields, Chartered Surveyor status, and at least 2-3 years of experience with contracts exceeding £750k. Knowledge in Landscape Construction is a plus.
The Landscape Group is requiring a Quantity Surveyor who should have the abilities to make complete commercial control of existing and legacy projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Contractual responsibilities: Evaluate contract documents, settle and formulate contracts, make sub contract documentation as well as resolution of contractual disputes and execute site measures.
Financial Management: Scrutinize site costs, making of project budgets and cash flow, administration of sub contractor variation accounts and analyzing of the key objectives concerning turnover and margin.
Relationships: Communicate with clients and be present at meetings to build up sound relationships. Business Development: Help in creating monthly tenders.
The perfect candidate should have prior experience in accomplishing Quantity Surveyor works in the commercial sector. The candidate should have degree level educational qualification as well as Chartered Surveyor degree. The candidate should possess project management experience together with confirmed working experience on handling the contracts amounted £750k for at least the last 2-3 years. Added advantages will be given for understanding of the Landscape Construction operations and Business Development/tendering model.
