• Master’s with 8+ years in industrial yeast work across scales.

Responsibilities

• Characterize target strains in instrumented lab bioreactors (batch, fed-batch, continuous).
• Measure metabolites with HPLC/GC-MS and other analytical approaches.
• Model yeast kinetics, nutrient uptake, and growth using reactor data.
• Optimize feeding strategies based on metabolic demand and oxygen transfer.
• Collaborate with metabolic engineering to identify strain targets.
• Support high-throughput screening development with metabolic data.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure safety compliance.
