Job description

A leading proprietary trading firm is looking for an experienced quantitative trader to launch and scale a high-conviction trading desk focused on equities and digital assets. Based in Miami or available fully remote, this is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of strategy, infrastructure, and performance with the support of a well-capitalized and agile firm.

What you’ll do:

• Design and run systematic strategies across equities and crypto markets
• Build a trading desk from the ground up with autonomy and backing
• Deploy, monitor, and refine trading models across multiple venues and asset classes
• Optimize execution, risk, and performance using in-house and external tools
• Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and operations teams

What we’re looking for:

• Proven track record running a profitable trading book
• Deep experience in equities and/or crypto trading
• Sharpe ratio of 3.5+ over a sustained period
• Expertise in alpha research, signal generation, and execution optimization
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
