Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Solutions Manager with at least five years of experience in credit risk models (development, validation, and consulting) and credit risk consulting. This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team dedicated to providing Unmatched Client Service to leading financial services institutions during a period of significant growth. You will help drive our Quantitative Solutions practice forward and support our growing demand for credit modeling services. As a Manager, you will join a team focused on developing, validating, and/or optimizing credit risk models, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing valuable insights as a consultant.

How you will contribute:

  1. Manage client relations, acting as a trusted advisor on credit risk modeling and management. Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  2. Develop, apply, and validate credit risk methodologies including obligor and facility risk rating models (e.g., PD, LGD, EAD), pricing models, etc.
  3. Create and implement credit risk reporting and analytics within a financial services organization.
  4. Provide subject matter expertise on credit risk at an enterprise level, contributing to comprehensive credit-related engagements beyond modeling.
  5. Advise clients on regulatory requirements (e.g., CECL, IFRS 9, CCAR) and assist in developing, implementing, and governing compliant models.
  6. Coordinate with leadership on all phases of client engagement, including scoping, contracting, information gathering, communication, staffing, oversight, execution, quality review, reporting, and delivery.
  7. Delegate and review work performed by staff, ensuring quality and accuracy, while performing technical work when necessary to ensure top-tier client service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, data science, or other quantitative fields.
  • 5-7 years of experience in credit risk modeling or financial risk management, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in credit risk modeling techniques and programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Allowance for Credit Losses, including methodologies, models, US GAAP requirements under CECL, and IFRS 9; familiarity with credit regulatory guidance and review systems.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management, financial products, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools like R, Python, Alteryx, SAS, Excel, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CFA, FRM, or other relevant certifications.

New York City Pay Transparency

In accordance with New York State pay transparency laws and local ordinances, the salary range for this role in New York is between $92,100 and $192,200, based on experience, education, and skills. Total compensation includes salary, health benefits, 401(k), profit-sharing, flexible time off, and parental leave. The company reserves the right to adjust the salary range as needed.
