Job summary

Fractal Power is building an end-to-end experimentation and data platform to support its market operations, including battery optimization and trading strategies. You will own the platform from research UI to data infrastructure and backtesting engines.

You'll work in a lean, fast-paced team with direct collaboration with quants and traders, delivering reproducible and scalable tooling that accelerates strategy development and live trading readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production systems, including taking something from zero to running.
• End-to-end ownership of the experimentation platform from UI to data infrastructure and backtesting engines.
• Strong product ownership for quants and researchers with no PM in between.
• Tight collaboration with quants and traders to gather requirements and deliver fast.
• Directness and willingness to ramp up quickly in a domain you are less familiar with.
• Comfort with the full stack: data ingestion, reproducible research environments, versioning, and observability.
• An appetite for intensity and fast pace, with a focus on delivering meaningful results.

Responsibilities

• Build the experimentation platform across multiple trading strategies (e.g., battery, DART, PTP, CRR/FTR).
• Develop data pipelines for market, weather, forecast, and asset data with versioning and monitoring.
• Create and maintain the forecast platform used by strategies.
• Provide tooling and scaffolding to enable quants to iterate from idea to tested hypothesis and live trading, with versioned artifacts and CI/CD.
