American Century Investments is seeking a graduate-level Quantitative Research Intern to contribute to investing analytics and data-driven research. Location-based in NYC or Kansas City; program runs June 2–Aug 6, 2026; 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday. Deadline to apply: November 1, 2026.

You will be mentored by a quantitative researcher, lead a project to improve our approach, and work with large financial datasets. Knowledge of Python or R is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled Master’s students studying Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of global capital markets and investing.

Responsibilities

• Be mentored by a quantitative researcher and interact with a group of investment professionals.
• Lead a project aimed at improving our investment approach and/or analyze new opportunities.
• Work with a variety of financial datasets to gain real-world experience.
