Job summary

SouthState Bank, N.A. is seeking a Quantitative Intern to join the Treasury Analytics team and gain exposure to ALM and CECL. You will support model development, governance, data analysis, and AI integration in a remote setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with data teams, hands-on modeling with R/Python, and the use of Snowflake, PowerBI, and Git to drive department projects while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; master’s preferred.
• Finance and statistical modeling knowledge preferred.
• Experience with data preparation and model validation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of Treasury Analytics model inventory and lifecycle.
• Support data preparation, model training, validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Work with large datasets using Snowflake, PowerBI, and Git.
• Contribute to projects using R and/or Python.
