Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Computer Science preferred.
  • 1-2 years in applied mathematics, probability, or combinatorics.
  • 1-2 years of experience with C++, C#, Python or similar OO language.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Studio is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with game designers and mathematicians to develop proof of concept and feasible math models.
  • Develop and generate math models that demonstrate gaming probabilities and mathematical return of games via theoretical calculation and/or simulation.
  • Participate in the game design and invention process.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure correct implementation of math models.
  • Deliver high quality work as scheduled in accordance with game design and product requirements.
  • Provide computer simulation and analysis of existing and new math models.
