Old Mission Capital in New York City is seeking a Systematic Equity Trader to develop and implement systematic equity strategies. You will work with engineering and research teams to build strategies, pricing models, and risk controls.

The role focuses on intraday alpha research, data-driven modeling, and rapid execution within a low-latency trading environment, leveraging Python and C++. A strong technical background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Experience in quantitative/systematic trading.
• Full stack trading strategy development including risk management.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop proprietary trading strategies with engineering and research teams.
• Engage in intraday alpha research, data gathering and model implementation.
• Apply statistical learning to build predictive trading models.
• Design and implement short-term trading strategies using Python and C++ on low-latency infrastructure.
