Job summary

Millennium Management LLC is seeking a senior developer to build tactical, production-grade applications for Fixed Income analytics and trading workflows in NY. You will prototype data pipelines, create dashboards and UI in React/TypeScript, and integrate AI/LLM capabilities such as RAG and AI coding agents.

The role requires 5+ years in a production environment, strong Python experience, and familiarity with financial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5+ years of development experience in a production environment, preferably with Python.
• Experience in financial markets using math, modeling, and statistics.
• Experience with AI/LLM tools for development and AI solutions.
• Full stack experience with React+TypeScript/Deno and cloud technologies.
• Strong communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• High attention to detail and ownership of work.

Responsibilities

• Work with portfolio managers, traders, and risk teams to prototype and deliver applications.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from internal and market data sources.
• Design and build data visualizations and web UIs to surface trends.
• Develop and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into applications (RAG, MCP, AI coding agents).
• Collaborate with FI Management, Execution, and Risk teams to capture requirements.
• Maintain and improve deployed capabilities as requirements evolve.
• Deliver timely, production-quality solutions to PMs and risk desks.
