Job summary

Millennium in New York seeks a seasoned software engineer to join the Fixed Income RAD team, delivering tactical, production-grade analytics and AI-enabled solutions for portfolio managers, traders and risk. You will prototype and build scalable tools that empower investment decisions.

You’ll develop data pipelines, dashboards and web UIs using React/TypeScript, Python and cloud technologies, and integrate AI/LLM capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of development experience in production environment.
• Experience in financial markets using mathematics, modeling or statistics.
• Experience with AI/LLM tools for development and/or AI solutions.
• Full stack experience with React+TypeScript/Deno and cloud tech (Kubernetes EKS/ArgoCD).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and deliver tactical, production-grade applications with PMs and traders.
• Build data pipelines combining internal and market data for analytics and delivery formats.
• Design data visualizations and web UIs surface data trends and workflows.
• Develop and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into team applications.
• Collaborate with FI Management, Execution, and Risk to capture requirements.
• Maintain, support and improve deployed capabilities as new requirements arise.
• Deliver timely, production-quality solutions to PMs and risk desks.
