Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) is seeking motivated candidates for the Quant Trading Associate (QTA) program in Chicago. This entry‑level role provides broad exposure across trading and quantitative teams as you progress toward a Quant Trader or Quant Researcher.

You will participate in trade execution, strategy development, back-testing, and data analysis while connecting with traders, risk managers, engineers, and quants; the program also includes a technology curriculum.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated drive, teamwork, and curiosity to learn and grow.
• Willingness to learn Python and apply quantitative methods.

Responsibilities

• Identify trading opportunities and impact the team through problem solving.
• Engage in trade execution, strategy formulation, back-testing and data analysis.
• Model and price traded derivatives and communicate with traders, quants and engineers.
• Contribute to learning across trading and quantitative disciplines.
