Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) invites talented students to join the Quant Trading Associate program in Chicago. You’ll gain broad exposure to trading and quantitative research as you progress toward a Quant Trader or Quant Researcher role.

You will work on trade execution, strategy development, back-testing, data analysis, and derivative pricing while engaging with traders, quants, software engineers, and risk managers. The program combines trading with a technology-focused curriculum.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with graduation between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027.
• All majors welcome and demonstrated academic success or awards.
• Willingness to relocate to Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Support a trading or quant team in high-impact roles during the Associate program.
• Participate in trade execution, strategy formulation, back-testing, data analysis.
• Model and price traded derivatives and communicate with traders and quants.
• Learn trading and quantitative workflows, including access to a combined tech curriculum.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, developers, and risk managers to generate alpha.
