Job summary

Global Proprietary Trading Firm in New York on-site is seeking an experienced Software Engineer/Quantitative Developer to work directly with traders and researchers. You will own strategy implementation and execution tooling, plus the infrastructure your traders rely on daily, embedded on a desk.

Requirements include 2+ years in quantitative development or similar, strong CS fundamentals, and a Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/Stats.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quantitative development or similar role.
• Strong CS fundamentals; language-agnostic hiring with in-house stack taught on the job.
• Clear communicator able to work across teams and researchers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field.
• Front office or trading-adjacent experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy implementation and execution tooling.
• Own infrastructure used by traders on a day-to-day basis.
• Collaborate with traders and researchers to deploy and optimize models and systems.
