Job summary

You will explore genAI/LLMs, publish research notes, and present findings at industry events, collaborating with sales and technology teams to deliver impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in quantitative field such as statistics, data science, computer science, financial engineering, PhD preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Q/kdb; 1-5 years’ development experience in UNIX/Linux.
• Deep learning/LLMs experience a plus; proficient with large datasets.
• Ability to publish research notes and present to clients and internal audiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Combine quantitative processes with fundamental insights to forecast KPI, develop sector signals, and build conviction on stock calls.
• Develop, backtest, and implement quant models to test the efficacy of various data sources.
• Explore cutting edge tools such as genAI/LLMs to gain insights into new alpha.
• Publish leading research insight notes and present at industry conferences.
• Source new ideas and collaborate with other research teams; support sales with quantitative proof statements.
• Build tools to query, clean, and analyze large data sets; coordinate with technology to standardize data hosting.
• Contribute to a high-performing team in a fast-paced equity research environment.
