Job summary

Brevan Howard is offering a Summer Internship Program in New York for penultimate-year undergraduates, or first-year master’s/PhD students, with a strong interest in technology and startups. Interns will gain hands-on experience in macro markets, research, and trading strategies while collaborating with senior professionals.

The program includes one-week training, diverse project work across markets and startups, mentorship, talks, and social events.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year undergraduate or 1st year master's/PhD student by July 2028.
• Interest in technology and startups; analytical mindset.
• Strong research and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience via internships, academic research, startups, VC/IB/hedge funds, or tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in one-week in-depth training on markets, macroeconomics, FX, digital assets, derivatives, and more.
• Contribute to Venture Capital projects, due diligence, industry mapping, and financial analysis of deals.
• Engage in talks, mentorship, social events, and exposure to front-office tech like LLMs and AI tools.
• Aim to convert top interns to the 2028 Graduate Program.
