Job summary

Brevan Howard invites penultimate-year undergraduates and early-stage graduates to its Summer Internship Program in New York. You’ll join a fast-paced macro hedge fund, performing quantitative analysis, research, and production-grade tooling with senior mentors.

The program begins with in-depth training on markets, AI tools, Excel and Python. Interns will work on projects spanning technology research, startup due diligence, and investment prospect mapping, gaining exposure to real-world trading

Qualifications

Penultimate year undergraduate/masters or first-year PhD student, by July 2028.
Strong interest in technology and startups, with analytical mindset.
Excellent research and data analysis capabilities and problem solving.
Prior experience via internships, research, startups, or financial institutions.
Proficiency in Excel and strong written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

Work with senior professionals on a range of impactful projects.
Attend one-week training covering markets, macroeconomics, AI tools, and Python.
Contribute to research on technologies and investment prospects.
Participate in talks, mentoring, and networking events.
Support the Venture Capital team with due diligence and analyses.
