Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI seeks a Quality & Warranty Acceleration Engineering team lead (WAT Engineering Manager) to guide the PTDR team at the Quality Engineering Center. You will oversee issue triage, root-cause analysis, and rapid corrective actions, coordinating with engineering and global teams.

The role requires deep automotive engineering know-how, leadership, and strong collaboration with Stellantis leadership to prevent recurrence and share lessons learned across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering with automotive/transmission/driveline experience.
• Experience resolving quality/warranty issues.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Project).
• Knowledge of GD&T and drawing details.

Responsibilities

• Lead the WAT engineering team on all quality and warranty issues to closure with robust resolution.
• Serve as single point contact for PTDR Quality & Warranty Engineering activities.
• Interface with cross-functional teams within PTDR and Stellantis Quality organization.
• Represent PTDR in reviews with Stellantis senior management.
• Approve RCA, ICA, PCA, and service action plans for issues.
• Ensure PTDR quality and warranty targets are met or exceeded.
• Develop and maintain lessons learned and read-across for future programs.
