Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Redmond is seeking a Training Coordinator for the Coatings department. You will create and maintain operational and safety procedures, schedule training with internal teams and external vendors, and design multimedia content.

You will monitor trainee performance, provide coaching to ensure safety compliance, maintain records, and assist in evaluating candidates. This on-site role requires strong instructional skills and the ability to develop effective training materials.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping operations, or a similar industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain operational and safety procedures for all equipment used in the Coatings department.
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
• Design and update training materials, including multimedia content, course outlines, and evaluation tools.
• Monitor and assess trainee performance; provide feedback and coaching to ensure competency and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications.
• Assist in evaluating job performance and testing potential new hires when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
