Job summary

Lochinvar, a business unit of A. O. Smith, seeks a Manufacturing Quality Inspector in Lebanon, TN to test units for fit and function, document defects, and support continuous quality improvement.

You will work with engineers and production staff to ensure adherence to standards, perform inspections along the line, and help maintain safety and housekeeping in the area. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, and proficiency with basic measuring tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Test units for fit, form and function and document results.
• Verify BOM data and work orders for accuracy.
• Attach test labels and prep units for shipping as needed.
• Inspect assemblies and subassemblies to ensure conformance to standards.
• Support quality improvements with operators and engineers.
