Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards and codes are met through inspections and testing.
• Provide mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment.
• Test and inspect mechanical aspects of switchboards, panelboards, and breakers.
• Prepare finished units for shipping including packing and labeling.
• Inspect/mechanical assemblies and maintain related records/reports.
• Support ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety, and JHA training.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and customers regularly.

We are looking for a Quality Test Technician to join our team! This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX site.

Shift Hours: 2nd Shift

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training will be provided by Siemens.
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring/inspection tools.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• SAP Experience.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Ensuring the quality standards and applicable codes are met through completing inspections, design reviews, testing operations (mechanical) and troubleshooting.
• Deliver specialized support services towards mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.).
• Test and inspect the mechanical aspect of Switchboards, Panelboards, and Breakers to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, UL50, UL67, etc.).
• Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.).
• Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies while maintaining all the related records and reports.
• Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA.
• Performs other work as advised by Supervision.
• Interact with various of departments and customers routinely.
