Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician for the production team on the 2nd shift. The role focuses on final inspections, nondestructive tests, and collaboration with Engineering and Wirers to ensure quality.

Shift hours are 3:00PM–11:00PM with hourly pay of $24.79 plus a $1.50 shift differential. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in electrical wiring/testing, can read schematics, and are legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience wiring or testing electrical equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, layouts, and wire lists for circuit troubleshooting.
• Experience with various test equipment.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications.
• Experience with Hi-pot testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform final electro-mechanical inspections on units, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and guidelines.
• Conduct nondestructive tests on equipment according to specifications and drawings, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports, working professionally with Engineering and Wirers during tests and reporting findings.
• Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
