Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Quality Test Technician for the Fort Worth, TX site on the 2nd shift. You will inspect, test, and improve electromechanical equipment, ensure compliance with quality standards, and prepare units for shipment while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications include 1+ year in manufacturing, ability to pass NFPA70E, English fluency with blueprints, basic computing, and US work authorization. SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training will be provided by Siemens.
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with blueprints/engineering drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring/inspection tools.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality standards and applicable codes are met through completing inspections, design reviews, testing operations (mechanical) and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver specialized support services towards mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.).
  • Test and inspect the mechanical aspect of Switchboards, Panelboards, and Breakers to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, UL50, UL67, etc.).
  • Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.).
  • Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies while maintaining all the related records and reports.
  • Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA.
  • Perform other work as advised by supervision.
  • Interact with various departments and customers routinely.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.50 (+5% shift differential) per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
