NDE Level II Tech

Contract 18 Months with a possibility of permanent

In Office- Westinghouse Etna, PA 15223

We are currently hiring an NDE Level II Technician (RT, PT) for our eVinci Technologies facility located in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting the results of examinations in accordance with applicable nuclear industry codes and standards. You will also work with NDE Level I/II trainees as they qualify for their certification.

Day To Day Duties And Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot NDE equipment.
  • Support daily inspection activities as required by the production schedule.
  • Mentor Level I and Level II trainees.
  • Investigate and interpret NDE inspection results.
  • Ability to review existing techniques to refine processes details.
  • Complete all required training programs to acquire and maintain applicable Westinghouse certifications and qualifications.
  • Complete required safety training as required by the manufacturing and safety teams.
  • Perform all assigned tasks with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and document all quality related issues.
  • Document inspection and test results ensuring attention to detail is applied and records are completed correctly and completely.

Who You Are

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Significant experience hours performing nondestructive inspections of nuclear and/or non-nuclear products to satisfy nuclear industry recognized requirements for NDE Level II certification
  • Professional Certifications: Nondestructive Level II capability to certify to WEC based written practice that satisfies ASNT SNT-TC-1A and ASME Code.

  • Working Knowledge of NDE Industry Standards and ASME Code
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
