Construction Inspectors (Remote Site Locations) (Biotech)

GPI is looking for motivated Construction Inspectors with experience in bridges, roads, canals, utilities, and multi-use trails to join our team across West Virginia, primarily from our Martinsburg, WV office. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections and observations of contractors' work on heavy highway and bridge projects, including earthwork, asphalt, concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, MOT, safety devices, and utilities.
• Measure, compute, record, and maintain contract quantities for payment.
• Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct material sampling and testing per project standards.
• Ensure work/material compliance with standards and specifications.
• Document daily project progress, including work performed, conformance, manpower, equipment, quantities, and extra work.
• Record project progress and documentation into SiteManager and ProjectWise.
• Identify and communicate project issues to managers and contractors.
• Assess and report unsafe conditions.

Qualifications:

• WVTRET Certification (Level 1-5) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Previous construction inspection experience.
• WVDOH Material Testing certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with WVDOH SiteManager and ProjectWise.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Availability to work hours including day, night, and weekends as required.
