Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Mechanical Engineer Interns for Summer 2027. This paid, in-person, 12-week internship offers hands-on opportunities to design and build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.

You will present design reviews, run analyses, visit vendors, and execute hardware test plans while applying first principles physics to every decision. Travel to test sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or any related field.
• Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.
• Collegiate project team or laboratory experience.
• Currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate engineering program.
• CAD skills (any platform) and ability to make high quality engineering drawings that meet common industry standards.
• Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
• High competence with, and fluid use of, engineering first principles.
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data.
