Job summary

Southern Interconnect in Houston, TX, seeks a quality engineer with wire and cable manufacturing experience to ensure regulatory and customer quality requirements are met. Knowledge of IPC620, ISO9000 and AS9100 is essential. Some employee management is required to ensure quality requirements are implemented and test verifications are conducted in a high-mix,

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic manufacturing, wire and cable environment.
• Experience with IPC620, ISO9000, AS9100 and applicable quality standards.
• Experience with automated testers such as CAMI Eagle Eye equipment with up to 1024 test points.
• Must be able to program machinery and verify test processes/capabilities including diode and power resistor testing.
• Experience in quality management and quality system compliance.
