Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Chillicothe, IL seeks a full-time Quality/Test Engineer to join our team.

You will contribute to quality assurance and testing of heavy equipment including excavators, tractors, pavers, and scrapers, focusing on electrical system validation. The role requires a bachelor’s (or master’s) in mechanical or electrical engineering and hands-on experience with electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in electrical system validation.
• Experience interpreting machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
• Ability to perform on-machine testing and validation to improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Work on quality assurance and testing for grade machines such as excavators, tractors, motor graders, pavers, and tractor scrapers.
• Evaluate dealer and customer warranty complaints and troubleshoot using electrical schematics.
• Perform on-machine testing and validation of electrical systems.
• Identify issues, investigate causes, and prioritize resolutions to reduce warranty costs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on quality assurance and testing for grade machines such as excavators, tractors, motor graders, pavers, and tractor scrapers.
• Evaluate dealer and customer complaints from warranty. Interpret machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
• Perform on-machine testing and validation; electrical system validation activities on machines.
• Identify engineering issues, investigate causes, and establish priorities for resolution to improve quality and reduce warranty costs.

Job Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field and 2 years of experience with electronic/electrical system validation activities on machines including interpreting machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
• Alternatively, will accept master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field and 6 months of experience with electronic/electrical system validation activities on machines including interpreting machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.

Compensation: $37.13 per hour
