Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Controls Engineer to join our team in Chillicothe, IL. You will contribute to control system development for large engines used in power generation and related industries.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, calibrating control algorithms, and conducting HIL simulations to validate performance before deployment. Requirements: a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and experience with Matlab/Simulink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field plus 1 year of post-bachelor’s experience or education with control systems and Matlab/Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex control algorithms for large engines.
• Assist with electrical design scheduling from concept to completion.
• Test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments.
• Conduct rigorous HIL testing to validate control strategies and algorithms.
• Perform engine calibration and data analysis comparing results to simulations.
