As a Quality Test Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and performance of Accelevation’s UL 891 switchboards and power distribution equipment before shipment to customers. You will perform detailed mechanical inspections, electrical testing, and compliance verification to ensure products meet design requirements, applicable industry standards, and customer expectations.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams, you will help identify non-conformances, validate corrective actions, maintain testing documentation, and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Employees must be able to communicate effectively and work safely around energized electrical equipment and manufacturing operations. This role is performed primarily in a manufacturing and testing environment and requires frequent interaction with electrical assemblies, power distribution equipment, and testing instruments.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and frequent use of hands while operating testing equipment and performing inspections. Employees may occasionally lift materials, components, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes moderate industrial noise levels and exposure to electrical equipment and manufacturing operations. Required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, arc-flash PPE, and other safety equipment, must be worn as applicable. Strict adherence to electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and quality standards is required.
