Job summary

Enviva, a world-leading renewable energy company, is hiring a Quality Technician to perform sampling and testing to ensure product quality aligns with specifications. The role involves recording results in various databases, communicating quality issues, and initiating quarantine procedures when needed.

The position requires proficiency with Excel and Outlook, at least two years in a manufacturing setting, and preferred qualifications including an associates degree and CQT certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and environmental samples to measure quality against client specifications.
• Follow proper workflow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Use electronic systems and databases for data storage and analysis of results.
• Investigate quality issues and propose or test ideas for improvements.
• Perform occasional special-projects tests to identify sources of issues or test potential solutions.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain lab equipment and calibration as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the lab environment.
