Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Quality Technician to perform sampling and testing of materials, ensuring products meet client specs. You will record results in electronic systems, investigate quality issues, and support continuous improvement. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and lab maintenance.

Applicants should have a GED, an Associate degree preferred, and 2+ years in manufacturing, with Excel/Outlook proficiency. Some outdoor/industrial exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Certified Quality Technician (CQT) Certification Preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; experience with databases.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts sampling and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, finished goods, and environmental samples, measuring quality to client specifications daily.
• Follows proper workflow procedures and maintains accurate records.
• Uses electronic systems and databases for data storage and analysis.
• Investigates quality issues and proposes/tests ideas for quality improvements.
• Performs occasional special-project tests to investigate quality issues or study potential quality solutions.
• Understands and follows all safety procedures.
• Maintains lab equipment and ensures timely calibration as necessary.
