Belcan Corporation in Elyria, OH is seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing by monitoring supplier and in-process Parker products for nonconformances and documentation gaps. You will escalate issues as needed and drive containment actions.

Requires 2-3 years of related inspection experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication skills. The role offers on-the-job training and comprehensive benefits, with a first shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related inspection or supplier experience.
• Experience in inspection methods and the use of inspection tools.
• Proficiency reading complex blueprints, route sheets, test specs and customer drawings.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Visual inspection skills with color perception; able to pass acuity tests.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve day-to-day supplier/internal product discrepancies to keep manufacturing on schedule.
• Evaluate problems related to products or paperwork and communicate issues to the right teams.
• Interact with suppliers to resolve issues and expedite material availability.
• Support nonconforming parts processes and containment actions.
• Assist in validating supplier/internal corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities with internal/external teams to ensure premier customer service.
