Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to help ensure customer specifications and our high quality standards are met across our plastic container R&D and production operations.

You will conduct quality inspections, use measuring tools, document results, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of quality experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Working knowledge of quality control methods and approaches.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect in-process and finished plastic containers in lab, on the floor, and in warehouse.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and performance against specs.
• Collaborate with internal partners to develop and maintain quality processes and lead improvements.

Job description

As a Quality Technician, you ensure customer specifications & our company high standards of quality are met throughout our plastic container research & development operations. You'll join our team of collaborative associates focused on producing the best quality packaging in the industry.

You Will Conduct quality inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers in the lab, on the production floor & in the warehouse to evaluate product quality.

Use measuring instruments to measure dimensions & performance criteria's adherence to customer specifications.

Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance.

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences.

Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal partners to develop and maintain quality processes, educate associates, resolve issues, and lead continuous improvement activities.

You Have Minimum of one year of Quality experience in a manufacturing or R&D environment.

Working knowledge of quality control methods & approaches.

Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.

Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions in a clear and professional manner.
