Job summary

Pawling Engineered Products is seeking a Quality Technician to perform testing and inspection of incoming and in-process parts. You will audit compounds, maintain measurement devices, and support root cause investigations and ISO processes in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing quality, strong math and reading prints, and proficient English communication. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities located in Pawling, NY.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in a manufacturing quality role.
• Read, write and speak English to understand customer requirements and to prepare reports and documentation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills to include decimals, fractions, and conversions.
• Ability to use measurement and inspection tools including calipers and rulers.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct In-process and final audit testing of compounds per standard testing methods.
• Maintain physical testing records and generate test reports for customers.
• Coordinate with others in developing a database of compound physicals.
• Maintain measuring systems (calibrations, equipment maintenance, and fixtures).
• Coordinate on physical testing non-conformances with supervisor/Quality Manager.
• Support root cause investigations of non-conforming material with lab tests.
• Support the ISO process with clear, honest communication.
