Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a Quality Technician for the Danboro, PA team to conduct inspections, performance testing, metallurgical processing and other evaluations in support of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma. Degree within an engineering science and/or other technology fields is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Inspection and testing experience.
• Good communication, organization, accuracy and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical, Metallographic activities or a combination of both to meet product and process development needs.
• Perform measurement techniques (dimensional, gaging, hardness, SPC, GR&R MSA).
• Conduct mechanical/performance tests including compression, tensile, torque tests.
• Prepare test panels and brackets; punching, drilling, mounting holes as required.
• Carry out metallographic sample mounting, sectioning, grinding and polishing, etching and microscopy.
