Job summary

Brunswick, a global marine leader, is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Technician – Metrology & Torque Tools in Fond du Lac, WI. The role supports machining and assembly with metrology, data integrity, and torque-tool verification to ensure product quality.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in quality/metrology, understands GD&T, and is proficient with Microsoft Office and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in Quality, Metrology, Maintenance, or dimensional inspection.
• Hands-on metrology and dimensional inspection in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support metrology equipment calibration, verification, and basic instrument maintenance.
• Verify torque tool results, parameters, and traceability; support calibration activities.
• Troubleshoot metrology and torque tool issues; escalate complex problems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and product characteristics.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and operators to reinforce quality standards.
• Collect, organize, and report inspection data to support problem solving.
