Job summary

BTD is a fast-growing metalworking company with 1,100+ employees across the Midwest and Southeast. We are seeking a quality inspector who can perform in-process inspections, read blueprints, and manage inventory in Axapta while upholding safety and QA standards.

The role involves using basic inspection tools and collaborating with production teams to ensure quality, accurate documentation, and timely communication of any non-conformances. Training and steady growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment used in manufacturing.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with inventory systems and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and setup inspections as needed.
• Use caliper, micrometer and height gauge to inspect parts.
• Generate Non-Conformance notifications and communicate findings.
• Maintain knowledge of parts, processes and QA practices.
• Enter inventory of patterns into Axapta as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and company quality systems.
