Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Quality Technician to promote a quality culture through leadership and training in quality best practices, working onsite in the United States. You'll support the Quality and Operations teams, interpret drawings and control plans, and act as the Voice of Quality with cross-functional teams.

This full-time role requires inspection, sampling, and reporting on process and product performance, with attention to safety and PPE, and the ability to use SAP and MATTEC systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
• Proficient in measurement with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Able to work with SAP and MATTEC systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality and Operations teams with quality best practices.
• Complete startup / last article inspections.
• Audit / Inspect and report on in-process and finished products.
• Make decisions on acceptability of manufactured/packaged products.
• Contain non-conforming products to the last acceptable inspection point.
• Communicate non-conformances to support teams.
• Interpret drawings, quality plans and control plans.
• Act as Voice of Quality with cross functional team.
• Record inspection and audit results on Batch Record.
• Perform inspections and report on process and product performance.
• Support corrective actions and process adjustments.
