Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging in Manchester Township, PA is hiring a Night Shift Quality Technician to monitor CCPs, ensure product safety and quality, and maintain accurate record logs. You will work 7pm-7am on a 2/2/3 rotation, with $22/hour starting pay plus a $1.25/hr shift differential, DOE opportunities, and merit increases.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years in printing, food, or regulated industry with GMP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCPs within processes.
• Ensure food safety and product quality throughout manufacturing.
• Document and file all records accurately.
• Verify recipe guidelines are followed during processing.
• Educate employees on quality expectations.
• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.
• Inspect in-process print quality per customer specs.
• Identify non-conformances and correct in real time.
• Collaborate with Operations on continuous improvement.

7pm-7am Rotation 2/2/3

$22/hour to start (DOE), $1.25/hr Shift Differential

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for monitoring and identifying critical control points (CCP) within the processes.


• Responsible for monitoring processes and product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.


• Responsible for the correct documentation and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation.


• Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing.


• Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.


• Ensures and educates employees on quality expectations.


• Collect product samples for the Quality lab.


• Perform inspections on in-process printing to ensure quality and accuracy of the print according to customer specifications.


• Identifying non-conformances and ensuring they are corrected “real time” when feasible.


• Working directly with Operations on the presses, slitter, lamination, etc. to identify areas for continuous improvement.


• Ensuring paperwork is accurate and filled out in a timely manner on the production lines.

Qualifications:

• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in printing, food, or regulated industry with knowledge of GMP’s (21CFR 110/111/210/211).


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package software is essential.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• Excellent time management skills.


• Excellent attention to detail is essential.

• Prior experience in food environment a plus.


• Must be able to work in a team environment.
