Job summary

Marketlab in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Quality Technician to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials and products meet specifications. You will document results, control nonconformances, and support supplier audits and quality investigations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate degree or cert preferred), 2+ years in quality inspection, and experience in a regulated manufacturing setting such as medical devices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality/Engineering Technology preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Inspection or related environment preferred.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with calibration processes and measurement equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to procedures, drawings, and acceptance criteria.
• Inspect components, raw materials, finished goods, and internal products for conformance.
• Document inspection results in Quality and ERP systems.
• Identify, segregate, and control nonconforming materials; initiate NCMRs and investigations.
• Read engineering drawings and verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Support calibration activities and maintain equipment records.
• Contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Receiving, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
