Job summary

Marketlab, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks a Quality Technician to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections and provide hands-on QA support across Manufacturing, Receiving, Warehouse, Engineering, and Product Development. You will document results and help ensure compliance with established specifications and quality systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and an Associate degree or technical certification in Quality or related field is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred and/or two+ years in quality inspection.
• Experience with incoming, in-process, or final inspections preferred.
• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; ERP or electronic Quality systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple inspection priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per procedures.
• Inspect materials for conformance to requirements.
• Document inspection results in QA systems.
• Review supplier documentation and inspection records.
• Identify and control nonconforming materials.
• Initiate Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMRs).
• Ensure product is identified while awaiting disposition.
• Communicate quality issues to Quality, Manufacturing, Receiving, Engineering, Supply Chain.
• Assist investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support calibration and equipment records and maintenance.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
